With humble beginnings, a fervent desire and a lot of love for exotic sub-tropical plants, Palm Island Nursery Outlet was created. Twenty years later the seeds of this beginning grow in landscapes throughout Northern California. The mission hasn't changed: to supply our customers with the best specialized quality plants rarely found elsewhere in Northern California. Generic gardens become passe' as new generations experience the need to have an exotic tropical environment at their door step. The demand is for new ecology. A diversification of rare species and unusual but often over looked plant material is desired. The limits of one's micro-climates are utilized to incorporate these special plants that make this ecololgy complete in the desired look. Time is now less of an issue in obtaining the finished look when mature specimens are used. Our Outlet Nursery is located in heart of Sonoma Country, Santa Rosa. This is an area of vast horticultural importance. It is famous for great wines and specialized nurseries. Luther Burbank made it his home and famous growing grounds over 100 years ago. He called it "the chosen spot". Our "chosen spot" is actually our growing grounds located in Solano Country. Nestled in the English Hills north of the City of Vacaville, the grounds provide the ideal conditions for growing sub-tropic plants. With ample heat, minimal wind and frost, our plants grow to the perfection and quality our customers demand. Coming in the fall of 2008 is our new Vacaville nursery outlet located on Highway 80.  This new additional location will provide easy access to our Bay Area and Sacramento Valley cusotmers.  To make an appointment to view our growing grounds call (707) 449-6366.
